This new update for Fire Journal includes a completely reworked Smoke Alarm Installation form. Based on the form used by the American Red Cross in its “Sound the Alarm” national initiative, several additional elements have been added, including counts for installed Carbon Monoxide Detectors, as well as residence type.
Based on user feedback, some small adjustments have been made to each form, so they are more easily completed. Users of Apple’s iPhone may also download the free ARC + Form, an independenet application (available in the App Store) for managing smoke alarm canvassing. Both iPad and iPhone forms sync with Fire Journal Membership.
