Introducing FireJournal Version 3

Introducing FireJournal Version 3. It’s big news.

FireJournal has been rebuilt from the ground up. It’s all new. It’s very much the same.

Our team listened to our testing cadre. We listened to our users. FireJournal 3 is the result.

It all starts with a new user experience. The look and feel is based on the workflow of a firefighter.

When you start your shift, you’ll open FireJournal. The main screen is now called MyShift. It’s a dashboard that defines how your day will run. Where are you working today? Your standard assignment or an overtime shift at a different station? What platoon are you working? MyShift gives you the power to establish the key factors that will drive your day forward. Your platoon, station resources, the rank you’re working (you can even work “down” if you like).

Who are you working with? Create as many “crews” as you like, and tap on the one you’re working with – or create a custom one for each shift.

MyShift lets you start a journal entry, incident, or form from the main screen.

If you need to access Settings, Help, or the new In-App Store, you can also do that from the MyShift screen.

Oh, and there’s one more thing…

FireJournal Cloud

FireJournal Cloud joins the family as the online cloud-based management service that gives you additional capabilities. Manage the data saved to your iPad. Make additional edits, add data, and engage with new capabilities, including:

  • Manage forms and data
  • Secure data compliance
  • Accurate paper form generation
  • Share core data with others
  • NFIRS form generation and upload to NFIRS
  • ICS forms (and accurate paper layout printing and sharing)

The data managed in FireJournal Cloud will sync back to your iPad as well. Because FireJournal (on the iPad) doesn’t need an internet connection, you may add data when you need to. Once your iPad connects to any internet source, FireJournal and Cloud will automatically sync.

FireJournal Cloud is an in-app subscription – and you get a FREE trial period to determine if it’s what the doctor (or Chief) ordered.

When you add FireJournal Cloud, you also get FREE 24/7 support. Learn more about FireJournal Cloud here.

FireJournal Cloud is an optional renewing in-app subscription. You may cancel at any time.

There are three introductory subscription options:

Monthly: $4.99

Quarterly: $12.99

Annually: 39.99

Payment will be charged to your iTunes account once you confirm the purchase.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the price shown within 24 hours to the end of your current subscription period.
